CROSSOVER FANDOM

Hans (Frozen) xcons Varian (Tangled Series)

My obsession with the Tangled TV show (and, specifically, Varian's dynamic with Andrew in it) led me to the big-brained idea of mashing Varian up with Hans. Hans is an expert manipulator and a cold sociopath, adept at finding people's weak spots and using them to his advantage so thoroughly no one would ever know he was a threat until he told them. And I think he would have a field day with Varian, someone who is so desperate to be believed and cared for, and with a massive intellect that frankly Hans could use to do a lot XD And as long as he kept telling Varian how important he is, how much Hans cares, how Hans is going to help Varian get everything he wants in the world, well, we've already seen the lengths Varian will go to when someone like that is whispering in his ear. And I think it's Hans' turn to have some fun with the kid XD

I would've killed to see some more interactions between Luke and the gods in the books, and all the better if it's the fucky kind XD I mean, we know that Luke and Ares have had some charged interactions, and that emotion manipulation of Ares' wouldn't exactly be subtle in a person whose fatal flaw is wrath, right? There's So Much Fucking Potential in that regard, and then for Zeus, Luke fucking stole his Master Bolt. If that isn't cause for retribution, idk what is. This really could go so many ways! Maybe the gods are punishing Luke for his actions. Maybe Luke is trying to manipulate them to get something he wants. Maybe this is just some good ol' fashioned god-taking-advantage-of-a-demigod shit. Maybe being abused by a god is the real final straw to turn Luke to Kronos' side. The world is your oyster XD

RISE OF THE GUARDIANS

Pitch Black xcons Jack Frost

RoTG remains one of my all-time favorite movies, and the dynamic between Jack and Pitch was fucking EVERYTHING to me. I loved Pitch's whole cocky attitude, his smugness, the way he treated Jack as something to be mocked until he saw just how powerful Jack really was—and the fact that he then wanted to RECRUIT Jack, playing on all his insecurities and dreams???? Oh my god I went fucking crazy for that. The entire scene in Pitch's hideout was my favorite part, especially the tone of Pitch's voice when he says "You want them, Jack? Your memories?" as he gets in all close, just so fucking delicious. And I fucking love Jack's transformation of opinion, going from not giving a shit about any of what was happening to his rage after Sandy, his need for revenge, and through all of that these charged, awesome moments between him and Pitch. And I really think there were so many opportunities where things could've gone A Lot Worse, whether during the movie or in an AU or what have you XD

The Beyond plotline was one of my all-time favorite things—I mean, what's not to LOVE about manipulation and memory erasing and bad guys controlling good guys? Ben was so desperate to be a hero, so desperate to belong, and Beyond knew exactly how to manipulate that. They played on each of his insecurities and watched his therapy sessions to adjust their approach to solidify their control even further, and then when he got a little too rebellious they just erased his memories to make him docile once more. Like oh my GOD how amazingly whumpy and perfect!! You gotta check out these two scenes to really grasp just how fucked up this all was: One, Two. Look at those and tell me you don't want Maxine & Beyond to utilize their control in even more fucked up ways XD

Miles Warren xcons Ben Reilly

My boy Ben has so many mental health issues from all the shit he's been through, mainly at the hands of his 'father' Miles Warren. Miles quite literally tortured Ben to death over and over and over again simply because it had the possibility of helping him with his research, treating him like nothing more than a science experiment, but still expected Ben to be on his side. Miles used Ben (and Kaine!) so many times and felt like it was his right as their creator. Hell, for Kaine, Kaine even called Miles "father" and begged for him to keep him! Like hot damn, Warren could've done anything to him. Plus, when you throw in Miles' obsession with Peter and Gwen, and how that led to him creating the clones in the first place—well lets just say that there were a hell of a lot of implications about what Miles got up to with the clones he made of the people he wished he could have. Kaine might've been an imperfect clone, but Ben and Clone Gwen were perfect mirrors, and there were more than plenty of implications about what Miles did to them...
