CROSSOVER FANDOM

Hans (A) (Frozen)/Varian (C) (Tangled TV)

My obsession with the Tangled TV show (and, specifically, Varian's dynamic with Andrew in it) led me to the big-brained idea of mashing Varian up with Hans. Hans is an expert manipulator and a cold sociopath, adept at finding people's weak spots and using them to his advantage so thoroughly no one would ever know he was a threat until he told them. And I think he would have a field day with Varian, someone who is so desperate to be believed and cared for, and with a massive intellect that frankly Hans could use to do a lot XD And as long as he kept telling Varian how important he is, how much Hans cares, how Hans is going to help Varian get everything he wants in the world, well, we've already seen the lengths Varian will go to when someone like that is whispering in his ear. And I think it's Hans' turn to have some fun with the kid XD

PERCY JACKSON

Luke Castellan (C)/Chiron (A)

Let's hear it for an adult taking advantage of a kid in their charge! Like honestly, Chiron could've abused any of the kids at Camp Half-Blood and gotten away with it, none of them would've said a goddamn word even if there was someone they could report it to. And Luke, shining student Luke, master swordsman Luke, what if Chiron took that "favoritism" a few steps too far? What if part of Luke's rage was because the person who was supposed to look after him and everyone like him failed in the most horrific way possible? Or, maybe flip it. Maybe Chiron's always looked at his students but (in his mind) would never dream of actually taking advantage, but Luke sees this as an opportunity—or, Kronos does, and Luke follows his Lord's commands. Whatever way you swing it, it's still terrible, and great fodder for joining the other side of the war if the demigod teacher is actually interested in the young demigods he's supposed to help.

Ares (A)/Luke Castellan (C)

So when people are around Ares they get angry, right? To the point where Percy was ready to start a brawl with a god in a diner just because of the way Ares was making him feel simply by being around him. And canonically, Luke's fatal flaw is wrath. So this really became something I desperately needed to see! I wrote a fic touching on this, but it did nothing to lessen my need lol. We know that Luke and Ares have interacted, since Ares was the one to find Luke with the Bolt. So how did that meeting really go? Did they ever meet again after that, or oooooh what about before? I just find this idea really fascinating, the way Luke as a character with his fatal flaw would play off someone like Ares, especially with his emotions getting inherently manipulated.

Luke Castellan (C)/Zeus (A)

I would've killed to see some more interactions between Luke and the gods in the books, and all the better if it's the fucky kind XD There's So Much Fucking Potential in that regard, and for Zeus in particular! Luke fucking stole his Master Bolt. If that isn't cause for retribution, idk what is. This really could go so many ways! Maybe the gods are punishing Luke for his actions. Maybe Luke is trying to manipulate Zeus to get something he wants. Maybe this is just some good ol' fashioned god-taking-advantage-of-a-demigod shit. Maybe being abused by Zeus is the real final straw to turn Luke to Kronos' side. The world is your oyster XD (And, I mean, then there's all that fucking excellent angst of this being the father of Luke's dead best friend.) (Also, maybe Luke was able to gain access to the Master Bolt in a far more intimate way than finding it in the Throne Room...)

ALL FOR THE GAME

Neil Josten (C)/Riko Moriyama (A)
Neil Josten (C)/Riko Moriyama (C)

I fell hard and fast for this series and it doesn't seem like I'm coming up from my hole anytime soon. And nothing about that series got me more excited than all the shit Riko Moriyama got up to, especially when that resulted in pain for everyone around him, namely Neil XD Riko was sadistic and psychopathic and possessive and manic and he wanted to tear Neil down to shreds and build him back up as a loyal servant. Him, the Ravens, Tetsuji—Neil spent weeks under their "care" and weeks more experiencing flashbacks to it that's how bad the treatment of him was. And I think all of this would be a million times more fun if we backed it up a few steps and had Neil as a minor. We know it's canon that Riko's sadism isn't a new thing, so what if we get to see some young Riko tormenting a young Neil? Or, still juicy, regular Riko putting Neil through canon events but Neil isn't quite the adult he makes out to be XD I'm really just running on Vibes, I think there's so much potential here.

MARVEL 616

Ben Reilly (C)/Miles Warren (A)

Clones provide the delightful asterisk that they can be created to any age, not just the regular age of the original (see: Superboy). And I think Miles Warren is the exact kind of fucked up to create a younger version of the object of his obsession instead. Like, he wanted to own Peter (and Gwen), wanted to have them under his power, and that control would be so much more thorough with a truly vulnerable subject. Why have an early- to mid-20s copy of Peter when you could have one at 17, 15, 12? And Miles already put Ben through so much, what with the torture and manipulation and murdering him over and over again thing, and I think it would all be so much more tasty when you really acknowledge the fucked up age thing that comes with creating a fully formed human out of nothing.

CRITICAL ROLE

Ashton Greymoore (C)/Jiana Hexum (A)

Jiana Hexum and Ashton's connection to her ended up falling away as not as important as the campaign went on, which was a serious crime in my eyes because damn do I love a dynamic like that! Ashton became so much...smaller, so much less bold, when in her presence, even calling her the boss. His behavior was so unlike Ashton that the other players would physically react to seeing him act so subservient! And then after they were out of Jrusar Ashton openly admitted to being terrified of Jiana. I mean, come on, that's delicious. And considering Ashton's age is super vague, especially how old he was when he came to be in Jiana's indentured service, I think it's not hard at all to believe that he truly was a teen/kid in over his head and suddenly staring down the barrel of a powerful criminal like Jiana. Jiana knew how special Ashton was and made full use of those abilities for her own end—I just really think this would be fun to play with!

Ludinus Da'leth (A)/Caleb Widogast (C)

I am running really on Vibes for this one, really think it could play out in so many ways. It was established that Ludinus knew quite a bit about what Trent got up to with his students, and found it distasteful, but what if he didn't find it so distasteful? What if he was involved, or simply decided to take advantage of the brainwashing and loyalty in the handsome young Bren. I really don't think it would've been hard for the Martinet to abuse his power over a Volstrucker trainee, especially not if Trent ordered Caleb to obey. Or maybe Ludinus took Caleb on as a protege before Trent was able to. Or maybe Ludinus pays some visits to Caleb in Vergesson, wanting to see if he can use the broken boy against his former mentor, since the Assembly members truly were always trying to get a leg up on each other. Wherever you want to take this would be fun!

Azazel (A)/Sam Winchester (C)

Azazel was so delightfully messed up. All his quips, his smiles, his fucked up paternal actions towards Sam...Love it all. Like him saying "I'll be there in a minute, Champ! But I'm proud of you; knew you had it in you." Just love that entire vibe. He felt like it was fact that Sam was his boy, and was absolutely his favorite. Man had big plans! I'm so curious about AUs involving Azazel, especially involving a younger Sam. Like, what if Azazel's plans started years earlier, or maybe Azazel possesses someone to get ~close~ to Sam, or some good old fashioned kidnapping and abuse to get back at John for hunting him. Some tropes like time travel or de-aging could also be fun here, if that's your vibe!

Gordon Walker (A)/Sam Winchester (C)
Reggie Hull (A)/Tim Janklow (A)/Sam Winchester (C)

Me, never shutting up about the dynamics Sam has had with hunters? It's more likely than you think! Like really though, there needs to be So Much More of this type of content—Sam was viewed as the antichrist, a thing to be killed, a weapon to be used, over the course of seasons and by multiple different hunters! Gordon, Tim, and Reggie especially tried to do a lot of fucked up shit to Sam, and were by far my favs. I mean, Gordon was out here obsessing over Sam, to the point where he made it his fucking life goal to hunt Sam down and turn everyone against him. And then that shit Tim and Reggie pulled??? Omfg, if you aren't insane over 5x03 idk what you're doing with your life. These two men who knew Sam when he was a kid tried to force him to drink demon blood and make him their attack dog like WHAT!!! It all makes me so fucking insane and frankly I believe things will only be made better by throwing an underage Sam at them XD Maybe Sam's left in their care and they take advantage. Maybe the demon blood stuff comes out years earlier and they go hunting. Maybe it's some good ol' fashioned time travel or de-aging. Whatever you like I'm so here for it!
